Celo'DD Case study 2020 → 2021 Co-founder

Sustainability × students, Montpellier.

Celo'DD was a CSR mission-driven structure, set up as a non-profit, dedicated to young sustainability project leaders in Montpellier. As co-founder in 2020, I led the operational setup and supported the first wave of accompanied projects, before handing over in 2021.

The mission

Student CSR, real one.

The idea: make CSR concrete for students who wanted to run an impact project — with no budget and no network. A classic mission-driven structure in form, focused on young project leaders in substance.
01

Raise awareness

Bring sustainability to student level — not another theoretical module, but short, concrete formats around local stakes.

02

Support

Follow project leaders over time: shaping the idea, business model, first partners, first field actions.

03

Connect

Bridge students, local organisations and established CSR actors. That's where projects moved from idea to traction.

Programs

What we set up.

A deliberately small org, designed to deliver a solid first wave of project support rather than chasing scale right away.
01 / Flagship

Supported projects

First wave of student projects supported in 2020–2021: local awareness, circular economy, soft mobility. Structured follow-up over several months.

Operational setup

Bylaws, governance, internal processes, first tools. So a new team could take it over.

Student community

Animating a first core of engaged students, present at events and workshops.

The fields

Real sustainability, at student scale.

We avoided overly global topics. What worked were locally rooted projects with a first accessible field in and around Montpellier.

A mission-driven non-profit, rooted in its territory.

The journey

One year, clean.

Not a long adventure. A founding, a first project wave, a clean handover — and a spirit that lives on, differently, in the projects that came after.
2020

Founding

Creating the non-profit with the co-founding team. Defining mission, bylaws, governance, first awareness actions.

2020 → 2021

First wave of projects

Supporting the first wave of student project leaders. Workshops, local partnerships, first real feedback on the format.

2021

Handover

Handover to a following student team. The non-profit has been dormant since, but its spirit feeds the projects that came after — notably START Paris, which inherits its community DNA.

The Celo'DD spirit lives on, differently.
